Davies Career and Technical High School in Lincoln, Rhode Island is a state school that prepares students with a technical skill set and training they can carry to future careers. Davies is hiring a full-time Advanced Manufacturing Instructor!

Requirements

• RI Teacher Certification: CTE Entry-level Machinist/Manufacturing or certificate eligible
• Five years of relevant work experience
• Communicates and collaborates effectively with students, families, and colleagues
• Know and understand industry recognized credentials and industry standards

Nice To Haves

• Teaching experience preferred
• Master’s degree preferred
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be appropriate and acceptable

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an effective Advanced Manufacturing program, including theory and labs that facilitate meaningful learning in the core competencies of the curriculum
• Maintain student record, including grades, attendance, and performance measures that assess and improve student learning
• Foster a safe and productive learning environment
• Facilitate program advisory board meetings
• Support student career readiness and Work-Based Learning experiences
• Maintain knowledge of best practices in and current industry standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
