About The Position

Johnson College is currently seeking part-time Advanced Manufacturing Instructors. The candidate must have experience working with manual mills and lathes, including working with various cutting tools, end mills, boring equipment, and rotary index equipment. Qualified candidates must know how to manually write CNC programs and knowledge of G & M codes, and use CNC mills and lathes. Candidates must have Master CAM experience. Johnson College provides a real-world, hands-on learning experience in a supportive environment and prepares graduates to enter into or advance their in-demand careers. Johnson College was founded in 1912 and is the region's only technical college, offering 18 associate degrees, four academic certificates, and over 30 continuing education programs. Requirements

  • Experience working with manual mills and lathes

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree and/or 4-5 years of technical experience

Responsibilities

  • Organizing and delivering class syllabi and objectives in a clear, concise manner
  • Maintaining an organized and safe lab
  • Ensuring training aids, tools, and equipment are maintained and prepared for use in the classroom and labs
  • Keeping accurate records of student performance and making timely submission of academic records
