About The Position

Johnson College is currently seeking part-time Advanced Manufacturing Instructors. The candidate must have experience working with manual mills and lathes, including working with various cutting tools, end mills, boring equipment, and rotary index equipment. Qualified candidates must know how to manually write CNC programs and knowledge of G & M codes, and use CNC mills and lathes. Candidates must have Master CAM experience. Requirements

• Experience working with manual mills and lathes
• Experience working with various cutting tools, end mills, boring equipment, and rotary index equipment
• Ability to manually write CNC programs
• Knowledge of G & M codes
• Experience using CNC mills and lathes
• Master CAM experience
• Minimum of an Associate's degree and/or 4-5 years of technical experience
• Strong communication skills

• Prior teaching experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Organizing and delivering class syllabi and objectives in a clear, concise manner
• Maintaining an organized and safe lab
• Ensuring training aids, tools, and equipment are maintained and prepared for use in the classroom and labs
• Keeping accurate records of student performance and making timely submission of academic records
• Providing students with timely feedback
• Course development
• Instructional delivery
• Student assessment
