About The Position

The Blades Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Leader is a critical member of the Wind Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Leadership Team. The role leads a team responsible for advanced process design, process automation, robotics, and advanced technology across blades global supply chain. You will be responsible to partner with key stakeholders to build strategy and drive execution of production ready technologies that significantly improve SQDC.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant engineering, manufacturing, and/or supply quality experience
  • Relevant leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Design common process, assess failure modes and develop control plans
  • Develop robotics, automation, and advanced technology roadmap
  • Perform technology readiness assessments, business case analysis, and make strategic recommendations for blades next generation manufacturing
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive cross-functional alignment
  • Drive manufacturing process development and build global standards. Standards include equipment, processes, training, and related activities
  • Deploy production ready solutions across a global supply chain
  • Lead complex cross-functional programs driving operational execution aligned to business commitments
  • Drive organizational strategy to build automation, robotics, and related skills
  • Lead a global team, build team culture, and grow/develop talent
