About The Position

As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you are a specialized professional who applies experience of manufacturing processes to improve production, reduce costs, and improve product quality. You work across multiple areas like New Product Introduction (NPI), process development, and automation, collaborating with other teams to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. You will work out of the Ennis, Texas facility and report to the Engineering Manager.

Requirements

Four (4) year Engineering, or Advanced Engineering degree.
Experience with PLC and control system applications including automated process equipment competencies.
Six-Sigma or similar Quality and Process Improvement implementation.
Experience with AutoCAD or 3D design software.
Ability to read or create electrical and mechanical schematics.
Demonstrated good communication skills.
Experience managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of new production materials, equipment, and technologies before conducting mass production.
Work with Engineering and Operations to define, develop and implement capital projects to support goals and facilitate continuous improvement.
Work directly with Operators, Maintenance personnel and Supervisors to diagnose, troubleshoot and correct or improve processes, automation and equipment molding.
Conduct technical feasibility tests
Design, procure and implement process equipment and tooling for maintenance replacements and new / improved product projects.
Considered an operational, maintenance process and engineering expert in process related manufacturing, I will generally coordinate with Plant Management.
My goal is to deliver continuous improvement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost in the designated and/or assigned areas.
Have a thorough understanding of process control systems and technologies to complete the assignments of the job.
Select and communicate with vendors to determine product specifications.
