About The Position

Performs the role of Process Engineering Lead working closely with a multidisciplinary cross-functional team in Re:Build Tekna's New Product Development process. The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes to achieve quality and business goals established for the project. This position will work closely with manufacturing and business development as projects move through different phases.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree of Science in Engineering.
Five to seven years of experience with proven success in production process, design, development, and qualification.
Possess strong math and computer skills
Show attention to detail
Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines
Exhibit good problem-solving skills
Have a good knowledge of material properties
Exhibit a sound knowledge of engineering design principles

Responsibilities

Lead process development of new and existing products, ensuring that manufacturing processes meet product and project requirements as well as identifying and recommending solutions for technical issues.
Participate in research and product requirements definition
Impact product conceptualization from the perspective of manufacturing.
Conduct 6M analysis.
Support make versus buy analysis and estimate labor costs for make scenario.
Support architectural analysis of the product.
Conduct detailed Design and Manufacturing analysis (DFM) with design engineers relative to their product designs.
Support risk analysis to include pFMECA.
Lead the design and development of new manufacturing processes to include process flow, line layout, custom workstations with fixturing, and the creation of training of production work instructions.
Work with procurement to source, quote, order, and receive equipment and materials necessary to stand up the production line in the manufacturing facility.
