About The Position

As a member of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, the Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for new product launch process and equipment and leading standardization and innovation initiatives. The Role: Your work will include, but not be limited to: Define assembly process according to customer and internal requirements, Maintain open issues list and drive completion, Lead cross functional teams supporting above activities, Develop & maintain documentation of standards for key equipment, Estimate cost of product and process changes, Travel to support plants within North America 25% average, 50% peak. Requirements

  • > 2 years of experience in Industrial Engineering
  • Labor analysis / work measurement
  • Line balancing
  • Plant layout using AutoCad Lt / 2D
  • Hands-on experience implementing change on production floor
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in JIT automotive or seating
  • Engineering / process change control
  • MOST certification
  • Experience creating & maintaining standard work instructions
  • APQP
  • PFMEA
