About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineer (AME) – Centralized Cooling & Lubricant Systems is responsible for the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of coolant, lubricant, and fluid supply systems across the manufacturing environment. This role supports an advanced machining center and serves as the technical expert for fluid management, ensuring system reliability, quality, and efficiency. aligned with INNIO standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or technical education (e.g., HTL, FH or equivalent) in process engineering, building systems, mechatronics, or a related field
  • Knowledge of control and regulation systems preferred
  • Strong technical understanding of process engineering and interest in chemical-physical processes
  • Experience with or willingness to learn filtration and fluid technology systems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Self-motivated, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and project management activities related to machine tool supply systems, with a focus on cooling lubricants and fluid distribution
  • Develop and implement technical solutions for maintenance-related systems and infrastructure
  • Support the design and optimization of fluid-based components and systems
  • Monitor and control the quality and performance of operating fluids
  • Create capacity calculations, layouts, and continuous improvement concepts for fluid systems
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies, driving optimization and innovation in fluid management processes
  • Contribute to specifications and technical requirements for new machines and systems
  • Maintain and update piping diagrams and coolant network data
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams
  • Utilize CMMS (maintenance software) for work planning, cost tracking, and data analysis
  • Monitor inventory levels, coordinate replenishment, and support proper disposal activities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for hall managers and machine operators on all coolant and fluid-related topics
  • Drive continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives within fluid management systems
