About The Position

The Production Engineering "Advanced Manufacturing Development & Industrialization Lead" is a key driver of innovation, strategic process improvements, and next-generation manufacturing technology implementation. This role provides technical leadership in manufacturing operations, shapes the technology roadmap, optimizes factory processes, and establishes best practices that enhance efficiency and scalability. As a senior leader, this role plays a pivotal part in cross-functional collaboration, supplier engagement, and ensuring seamless integration of advanced manufacturing solutions into production environments. This role is specifically focused on the NPI of HPP and the introduction to the factory, in partnership with follow project leadership and Production Engineering. Role Summary: Advanced Readiness & Capability Hub for Industrialization, Transition, Execution, Cross‑sector Technical‑authority.

Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science degree in technical domain (e.g. mechanical/electrical/optical/chemical/industrial engineering, mechatronics, physics, or related field); 8+ yrs experience in a technical production environment, required
  • 2+ years experience in a technical leadership role, and exposure to several variations of technical challenges.
  • Or Masters of Science degree in technical domain (e.g. mechanical/electrical/optical/chemical/industrial engineering, mechatronics, physics, or related field); 4+yrs experience in a technical production environment, required

  • Expertise in manufacturing process development, SPC, and advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Drive long-term manufacturing technology roadmaps for the factory for a given module, ensuring alignment with company strategy and future industry trends.
  • Provide high-level manufacturing input into key process development documents.
  • Lead the development and execution of cutting-edge manufacturing solutions, ensuring robust integration with factory operations.
  • Provide factory input during ECN reviews, ADR/PDR/CDR’s.
  • Drive readiness for volume manufacturing by embedding manufacturability and serviceability considerations into early design phases.
  • Develop, define, and support Production Engineering team in the implementation of high-impact process improvements that elevate production efficiency and product quality.
  • Works with D&E FO (Functional Owner) to create Statistical Process Control (SPC) parameters for new products to ensure process stability.
  • Provide expert technical guidance during integration, testing, and industrialization phases to resolve complex design and manufacturing issues.
  • Close the operational feedback loop by incorporating lessons learned from production and field performance into design improvements.
  • Establish strong partnerships within internal/external stakeholder teams to drive alignment with manufacturing objectives.
  • Facilitate strategic decision-making through data-driven insights and technical expertise.
  • Chair Cross-Sector Alignment (CSA) meetings to ensure factory alignment with D&E Architects
  • Lead risk assessments for new technology integrations and guide team to proactively implement mitigation strategies.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in technical escalations related to manufacturing processes, ensuring rapid issue resolution and long-term corrective actions.
  • Create, provide and deliver technical slides for various forums as needed.
  • Support the Project Lead (PL) in technical communications for Dead on Arrival (DOA) cases and Greenheart meetings.
  • Assist the PL in setting and executing technical priorities.
  • Lead future-focused initiatives to drive digital transformation and smart manufacturing within production environments.
  • Identify and champion emerging technologies that enhance automation, precision, and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
