Requirements

3+ years of experience in maintenance or automotive repair preferred.
Diagnostic ability and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to meet deadlines, work flexible hours, and work in a team environment.
Interpret technical instructions.
Capability to use independent judgment and work both independently and in a team setting.
Basic computer skills.
Commitment to quality.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis, standing, climbing is frequently required.

Hands on leadership of 5+ mechanics supporting 50 person facility equipped with multiple types of machinery.

Responsibilities

Repairing and refurbishing fusion equipment in a distribution plant.
Perform quality inspections of rental fusion equipment prior to returning to service.
Inspect and diagnose customer owned equipment to prepare repair quotes.
Communicate with maintenance coordinator and production manager on status of down equipment and customer repairs.
Prepare equipment for shipping.
Establishes and adjusts work procedures and schedules to meet company demand.
Motivate and implement safety procedures, recognition, and accountability.
Collaborate with departmental managers to meet plant goals.
Manages the work of technical maintenance staff, contractors, or subcontractors.
