About The Position

The purpose of this job is to fulfill Operator level jobs and tasks in the Broadloom value stream. Jobs in this class are: R401 Sew-on / Rover (Primary job to fill), R401 Inspector, R101 Sew-on. This role involves cross-training and filling in on Operator level jobs. Some skills required for these positions include performing planned maintenance and daily team maintenance, following the planning map and dye schedule, sewing straight seams free of creases from the sew-on table, receiving inventory in SAP, operating a PIV with a long pole attachment, and knowledge of base carpet.

Responsibilities

Comply with all plant, area safety rules, LOTO procedures and ISO specifications.
Confirm trailers on board are at dock and call trailers.
Verify greige was issued correctly in SAP.
Perform Weekly cycle counts.
Stage/Confirm greige is ready for upcoming colorways.
Draw Pic lines on carpet when unloading and measure length to make sure they are correct width.
Inspect rolls when unloading to make sure the ID line is on the correct side.
Transport/Dispose of tubes.
Clean Millitron Pre-Circulation filters as needed.
Unload supplier trailers.
Perform periodic audits.
Fill in on Sew on, Millitron, & Inspection jobs to cover for vacations/absences and breaks.
Proper handling of tubes in the inspection area, disposable, shipping of tubes, and maintain tubes for the inspector.
Keeping dumpsters emptied at R101 sew on area, inspection area, reinspect tables and cut tables.
