About The Position

Snowmass Club is looking for an Advanced Line Cook who brings strong technical skills, leadership on the line, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role requires a skilled cook who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in consistency, precision, and teamwork. The ideal candidate enjoys mastering every station, executing dishes to perfection, and supporting a high-performing culinary team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of kitchen preparation and cooking experience
  • Strong understanding of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Standing for extended periods in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Frequent walking, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, and reaching
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70 lbs
  • Perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
  • Comfortable working in hot, humid, and high-noise environments

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Food safety certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work any station on the line with confidence and efficiency
  • Prepare and execute menu items according to standardized recipes
  • Maintain consistency in quality, presentation, and timing
  • Adjust and correct recipes as needed to meet standards
  • Demonstrate proper heating, cooling, labeling, and FIFO practices
  • Work quickly and effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Multitask across stations while maintaining attention to detail
  • Complete prep and service tasks with minimal supervision
  • Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to contribute each shift
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Take inventory and requisition items needed for service
  • Communicate shortages or needs to culinary leadership
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of all prep areas
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Properly operate and clean kitchen equipment
  • Open and close stations according to established procedures
  • Lead by example and promote a positive kitchen culture
  • Support teammates and contribute to a collaborative environment
  • Participate in team meetings and offer ideas for improvement
  • Assist with additional tasks as directed by kitchen leadership
