About The Position
Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) are needed to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance, delivering high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients. This is a full-time opportunity.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State AEMT License
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, NREMT-A
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
Nice To Haves
- Some work experience, preferably healthcare
- Related experience in healthcare
Responsibilities
- Provide assessment of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
- Utilize appropriate AEMT skills including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
- Operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Collaborate and work professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow AEMTs.
- Participate in community programs to maintain company image and establish strong community relations.
