Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed signal circuit analysis/design.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects.
  • Team player committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.

Nice To Haves

  • Analog design, Power System or Power Equipment design, and/or Systems Engineering experience.
  • Understanding of development of power system architectures; knowledgeable in power conversion (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC & various topologies), power conditioning, filtering, distribution, protection, control & monitoring techniques, and related analog design skills is a plus.
  • Background with design and development of analog and power filter circuit & equipment design in e.g., communications, networked systems, telemetry, RF/microwave or similar technologies.
  • Experience specifying, designing, analyzing, testing power and analog circuitry and equipment; including familiarity with related CAD/modeling/simulation tools, and translation into circuit boards & products.
  • Experience specifying, qualifying, testing and successfully integrating commercial off the shelf hardware, especially for the Defense / Aerospace marketplace.
  • Familiarity with servo & control systems design, modeling, implementation, and test is a plus.
  • Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in test, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics.
  • Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design.

Responsibilities

  • Concept, design, development, test, production, and life cycle support of power and analog equipment designs as well as subsystem-level designs.
  • Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
