About The Position

These homes support individuals who have higher health and support needs. Team members are trained to utilize medical equipment such as nebulizers, oxygen, hoyer lift/track system and sit to stand, as well as manage seizure disorders and follow specific protocols. The individuals require full support in activities of daily living. As an Advanced Direct Support Professional (DSP) at LSS, you will find purpose in deep and meaningful work that has a person-centered approach to care. You will provide guidance and encouragement, while building purposeful relationships with your individuals. You will advocate for your individuals in all aspects of their life, including community engagement and support in essential living skills. You will also maintain documentation, perform record keeping, and participate in periodic meetings/training according to regulations and LSS standards.

Requirements

Basic computer skills
Ability to read and write in English
A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check.
The ability to successfully pass a DHS background check.
