Advanced Clinician - Certified Hand Therapist - PT or OT
About The Position
HSS Rehabilitation and Performance is a dynamic multidisciplinary team of highly skilled clinicians supported by engaged patient access and rehab technician professionals. We are seeking an experienced physical therapist or occupational therapist to join our team at one of our NYC locations. Our clinicians treat a large variety of hand, wrist and elbow diagnoses including post-surgical trauma, fractures, dislocations, tendon lacerations, arthritis, brachial plexus injuries, amputations and rheumatic conditions. Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in hand therapy.
- Strong clinical skills in hand therapy.
- Experience and/or interest in staff development, mentoring and education.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills.
- Experience with orthosis fabrication and post-surgical rehabilitation.
- New York State licensure.

Responsibilities

- Fabricate orthoses.
- Provide post-surgical rehabilitation.
