About The Position
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Certified needed for Whidbey Island walk-in clinic providing care to low to moderate income patients of all ages with a higher than average acuity. Seeking either ARNP or PA-C candidates with a minimum of three years experience in a primary practice preferred. ACLS certified. This position requires some clinical independence; supervising medical director may be off site.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years experience in a primary practice preferred.
- ACLS certified.
- Nurse Practitioner candidates must hold a valid RN license that allows practice in Washington State.
- Nurse Practitioner candidates must hold a Masters Degree in Nursing.
- Nurse Practitioner candidates must have successfully completed a degree program offered by a national certifying body recognized by the Washington State Nursing Commission.
- Physician Assistant – Certified (PA-C) candidates must have successfully completed a program from one of the following accreditation organizations: Accreditation Review Committee on Education for the Physician Assistant, Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, or Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation.
- Physician Assistant – Certified (PA-C) candidates must have successful completion of the national examination given by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
