The Oshkosh Community YMCA offers a dynamic summer youth fishing program designed to build skills, confidence, and a love for the outdoors. Alongside an introductory program that teaches fundamental fishing skills and certifies participants as DNR Junior Anglers, the Advanced Anglers program serves youth who are ready to take their knowledge to the next level. We are seeking an intern to help develop and lead this advanced angler’s program through hands-on instruction and lesson planning. Over the course of five weeks, the intern will design and deliver engaging lessons for experienced young anglers, assist with weekly fishing excursions to local sites, and help ensure all equipment and materials are prepared and maintained. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine program development, outdoor education, and leadership in a fun, supportive environment.
