About The Position

As an Advanced Aerospace Systems Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, you will help develop flight-critical actuation systems that enable safe and precise aircraft control. Working within the Mechanical Systems and Components Organization, you will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, controls, software, and test engineers on primary and secondary flight control actuation systems and electro-mechanical actuators. The role covers the product development lifecycle, including concept studies, system architecture, modeling, integration, qualification testing, production support, and product sustainment. You will address multidisciplinary challenges involving mechanical systems, controls, electronics, software, and system dynamics. The position reports directly to the Sr Engineering Program Manager and is based in Tempe, Arizona, on a hybrid work schedule.
