About The Position

This role is responsible for managing the quality development of new programs and products, overseeing the Advanced Quality Engineer (AQE) team, handling customer complaints related to new programs, and managing engineer change work orders. The position involves ensuring quality control before and after the Start of Production (SOP), participating in design and testing verification, and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

1+ years quality engineering field experience.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office software Word, Excel, Power Point.
Proficient in IATF Core (Five) Tools and quality statistics knowledge.
Proficient in using 8D method to solve problems.
Familiar with manufacturing principle and technological process of automotive glass.
Familiar with the company's quality policy, objectives and commitments.
Have a good knowledge of IATF 16949 quality management system.
Have a basic knowledge of ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 quality system.
Familiar with various standards and inspection/test methods for automotive glass.
Quality planning of new projects.
Risk assessment and management of new projects.
Able to solve problems systematically.
Relatively better planning, organization, Leadership and control ability.
Relatively strong sense of responsibility and sensitivity; be able to actively deal with problems.

Nice To Haves

Experience in automotive production manufacture is preferred.
Engineering or management major preferred.
Systematically trained in manufacturing technique of automotive glass and main equipment.
Systematically trained in APQP.
Trained in IATF 16949 quality system (including five tools).
Systematically trained in quality tools.
Trained in related OEM and Tier 1-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

In charge of the new program quality plan, manage new program and new product quality development.
In charge of the quality department Advance quality engineer (AQE) management.
In charge of dealing with customer complaints about the new program, follow up the return material defect analysis and improvement.
In charge of the Engineer change work order management of the program and process.
Responsible for keeping data, drawings, and standards effectively archived in a controlled way.
Control the new product quality before SOP+3 months.
Participate in the design of new product test and detection plan, responsible for verifying the detection and test capability for new products.
Organize the process capability study and verification of new product technological process and participate in Run-at-Rate verification.
Organize product review of samples during new product development, quality gate review before mass production and the process review.
Participate in the product review, revised changes review and trial assembly during customer's new product development.
Monitor if all necessary processes and plans during new product development are effectively implemented.
New product verification: Work with Quality Verification Engineer to develop PV testing plan according to the OEM requirements.
Participate in and track the implementation of PV Testing plan, ensure timely attainment.
Solve and improve quality problems: Properly handling with quality problems occurred during new product development and SOP+6 months.
Handling with customer complaint and returns of goods during new product development and SOP+6 months.
Establishing new product quality resume, summarize quality problems and provide improvement suggestions.
Other works relating to quality assurance: Participate in internal training specifically required by customer.
Responsible for training and guiding new product quality standard and inspection specification.
Assist quality control supervisor in recognizing and managing process change points.
Responsible for compiling, archiving and transferring materials relating to new product development process.
