About The Position

This is a full-time position for an Advance Practice Provider (PA/NP) in Cardiology at Witham Health Services in Lebanon, Indiana. The role involves both outpatient and inpatient hospital settings, with a schedule of days, Monday through Friday. The provider must be licensed in the state of Indiana and possess at least two years of acute care clinical experience. National certification in an Advance Practice Specialty with recent clinically related experience is required. The position also requires the ability to obtain and maintain prescriptive privileges and establish a collaborative practice agreement with a designated physician. The role demands professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, including clinical expertise, integration of care across the continuum, surveillance of care processes, accountability for patient outcomes, evidence-based practice, and advocacy for patients and the organization. The provider must be adaptable to changes, possess critical decision-making skills, communicate effectively, maintain positive public relations, relate well to patients and staff, function as a team member, provide high-quality direct patient care to complex patients, and interpret medical information.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program with an advanced degree (master's or doctorate) degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Must hold an unrestricted license to practice Nursing in the State of Indiana.
  • Must have two (2) years acute care clinical experience.
  • Must be nationally certified in Advance Practice Specialty with recent clinically related experience in specialty.
  • Be able to obtain prescriptive privileges required and the ability to maintain current privileges (to be allowed prescriptive authority) and exercise a well written collaborative practice agreement with a designated physician.
