We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to patients, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure the best outcomes. Medlife Primary & Urgent Care provides the highest quality, walk-in clinic medical care for patients of all ages. We serve metro Atlanta and surrounding counties. Medlife Urgent Care diagnoses and treats a wide range of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries from fevers, sore throats and minor infections to chronic conditions, routine physicals, digestive disorders, allergies, vaccines, etc. We provide diagnostic services including x-rays, ultrasounds and lab tests for fractures, throat cultures, transmittable diseases and other medical conditions and injuries.

Requirements

  • Active Georgia license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner which allows dispensing of medications and prescribing of controlled substances.
  • The possession of excellent interpersonal skills and empathy towards patients.
  • The ability to relate to a culturally diverse group of patients and community.
  • The ability to adapt to changing situations and circumstances.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional care to patients, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Develop teaching and counseling sessions, as needed.
  • Assume and delegate the needs of clinic patients, as a member of the health care team.
  • Perform minor procedures such as laceration repair, splinting, incision and drainage, wound care, ear irrigation and foreign body removal, pelvic exams, etc.
