About The Position
Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a private behavioral healthcare center offering advanced behavioral health and diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents, and older adults through inpatient and outpatient programs. Their mission centers on excellence in diagnosis, treatment, and education, aiming to restore hope and guide individuals and families toward healing for more productive and fulfilling lives. This Full-time Outpatient Therapist position focuses on Mental Health and Dual Diagnosis treatment for Adults. The role involves clinical assessment, treatment of designated patients at Hampton Counseling Center, discharge planning, and participation in a multidisciplinary treatment team. The position will provide traditional outpatient therapy services.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years clinical expertise in individual, group, family and marital therapy
- Previous experience in clinical assessment, case management, discharge planning
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Must have a LAC, LPC, LSW or LCSW with 1+ year experience in a similar environment
- Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Facilitate group therapy
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments
- Manage a caseload of up to 12-15
- Coordinate care with family and external providers
- Safety planning
- Discharge planning
