About The Position
As an Adult Residential Support Professional at Affinity Residential Treatment Facility, you will provide encouragement, guidance, and positive role modeling to women on their journey to overcome addiction and achieve long-term recovery. You will help residents develop the skills needed for lasting sobriety and independence in a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and maintain professional boundaries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Nice To Haves
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, recovery support, or related fields preferred
Responsibilities
- Support and monitor residents in a safe, respectful environment
- Build positive relationships and provide encouragement toward recovery goals
- Assist with medication monitoring/administration as trained
- Respond appropriately to crises and emergency situations
- Document resident progress and maintain accurate records
- Help residents develop daily living and coping skills
- Assist with transportation, meal preparation, shopping, and other program activities as needed
- Collaborate with counselors and treatment team members to support resident success
