The Adult Radiographer position is available in levels 1, 2, or 3 depending on experience, education, and licenses/certifications. The Radiographer I, under direct supervision, performs routine Diagnostic X-Ray examinations using fixed and/or portable equipment in accordance with established protocols, safety guidelines and quality standards. This role is crucial for performing diagnostic imaging on patients as ordered by a care provider in routine or emergent conditions, ensuring testing is performed safely and with the highest quality standards, maintaining a consistent focus on patient-centric care. The position also involves preparing patients for procedures, administering contrast, responding to patient inquiries, collaborating with team members, conducting quality reviews, documenting in EMR/PACS, performing equipment maintenance, and potentially teaching students or mentoring new team members. On-call coverage may also be required.
