About The Position
Within the framework of the organization, the Psychiatrist is responsible for providing assessment, counseling, treatment, referrals, and advocacy services for individuals served. The Psychiatrist is also responsible for upholding the highest quality of care, in accordance with all standards and bylaws set by government agencies, Pine Rest, and client hospitals/agencies. The Psychiatrist must demonstrate excellent customer service and enthusiasm for the program and the Pine Rest organization.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Current Michigan State license as physician and surgeon.
- Completion of an accredited four-year psychiatric residency program.
Nice To Haves
- National Certification in Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or board eligible within 5 years.
