ESH’s Adult & Workforce Development Programs aligns with our mission by providing high quality programs and services within community centers and school partnerships. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Post-Secondary Pathways, the Adult Literacy Education Manager is responsible for development, oversight, and management of Adult Literacy Programs. The Adult Literacy Education Manager will work under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Post-Secondary Pathways. As a member of the PSP Programs, the Adult Literacy Education Manager is expected to provide high quality adult programs and services within the community. This position’s direct reports include the GED Instructor and the ESOL Instructor and interacts with other internal programs within East Side House such as (but not limited to) Jobs Plus and externally within the community. With a focus on design, implementation, oversight, compliance, and continuous improvement of adult education programs, the Adult Literacy Education Manager provides services that are focused towards education, workforce development, and student support.
