About The Position

Edustaff is seeking an Adult Education Tutor to work with adult students in English/Math and other subjects as needed. The schedule is Monday - Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for the school year, approximately 34 weeks. This role involves analyzing testing data and reports, and interacting in a friendly and patient manner with students of all levels of language proficiency. Other duties may be assigned by the Director.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• Communicate clearly and concisely to students, both orally and in writing
• Recognize variations in student backgrounds, abilities, and learning styles
• Ability to work with College and Career Readiness standards and readings
• Complete scoring rubric and assess understanding and comprehension

Responsibilities

• Tutor adult students in English/Math and other subjects as needed
• Testing data and report analysis
• Interact in a friendly and patient manner with students of all levels of language proficiency
• Other duties as assigned by the Director
