About The Position

Responsible for the intake, advising, registration, assessment, placement of current or potential students. Collecting and reporting student data in support of the data and assessment policies, procedures and requirements of the Adult Education Program as mandated by the federal Department of Education Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education (OCTAE) and the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing & Regulations (DLLR) at the Program’s campus and off-campus instructional sites in Prince George’s County. Must be available to work Monday – Thursday, 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM. The recruitment for this position continuous.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four to five years of related experience or required.
  • Coursework/ certification and or specialized skills/ training.
  • Combination of relevant higher education and experience.
  • Organizational, project management, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with students and potential students from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Ability to walk and stand extended periods of time.
  • Ability to develop and maintain cordial, cooperative working relationships.
  • Good oral and written communications skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general aptitude for computer software and technology.
  • Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting assessment staff during peak testing periods.
