About The Position

Supports the classroom certified teacher in curriculum guidelines and works under the direction of the Classroom Teacher with students individually and in groups while maintaining confidentiality. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience working in a classroom environment with adults is preferred. The aide must possess basic computer skills, good communication skills, and the ability to grasp position-specific software with minimal training. They should also be caring, understanding, and friendly towards students, able to apply common sense to carry out instructions, and communicate effectively with students, staff, and the community. The ability to read and interpret school policies and handbooks, and to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required for essential job duties, including safety instructions, emergency responses, documentation, and interactions.

Requirements
