Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Day Program Manager to lead their Pasadena program. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience, including experience supervising approximately 5–30 employees.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid California Driver's License.
  • Must successfully complete all required pre-employment screening, including a background check.
  • Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, employees, Regional Centers, and community partners.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Adult Day Program and ensure a safe, healthy, and positive environment for staff and clients.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate program staff.
  • Ensure client rights are protected and upheld at all times.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized program environment.
  • Review referral packets, assess prospective clients, and coordinate with Regional Center counselors and other professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant client and facility records in accordance with applicable California regulations.
  • Provide staff in-service training and participate in required training programs, including New Hire Orientation.
  • Monitor program quality through field visits, daily audits, and ongoing quality assurance activities.
  • Review staff documentation and ensure required client notes and progress reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Participate in Individual Program Plan (IPP), Transition, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Build positive relationships with clients, families, Regional Centers, community partners, and other agencies.
  • Coordinate medical and dental appointments, emergency care, and physician orders when needed.
  • Maintain required program records, including consultant, maintenance, vehicle, and other operational logs.
  • Monitor employee timekeeping and other administrative functions.
  • Assist with community outreach and marketing efforts to promote program growth.
  • Monitor program expenses and assist with managing financial resources, including staffing, supplies, utilities, and other operational costs.
  • Ensure program operations comply with applicable Title 17, Title 22, Regional Center contracts, facility program design, and Individual Program Plans.
