ADULT CRISIS PROVIDER
About The Position
This position involves providing crisis stabilization and observation for individuals, conducting daily recovery-based activities, and teaching daily living skills. The role also includes assisting individuals in connecting with community resources and providing transportation as needed. Accurate documentation of progress and completion of all required paperwork for billing and audit purposes are essential. The provider will also identify problematic trends, aid in problem-solving, and build relationships with all departments to ensure effective communication throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Age 18+ years old
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Reliable, responsible, flexible
- Ability to interact with and respond appropriately to emergency situations
Nice To Haves
- Will obtain all required training required by the State of Kansas, CPR and First Aid, CPI and will attend any other training and certifications directly related to this position.
Responsibilities
- Provide crisis stabilization & observation
- Conduct daily recovery-based activities
- Provide routine check-ins with individuals, leaving no one unattended
- Teach daily living skills
- Assist individuals in connecting with community resources
- Provide transportation as needed
- Complete all required paperwork for billing and audit needs
- Maintain a written record of individuals’ progress same day of service
- Identify problematic trends and aid in problem solving
- Build relationships with all departments to aid in communication flow—focus on Compass as a whole
Benefits
- $2/hour differential for the overnight shift
- $1/hour for evening shift
- .50 cents/hour day shift
- $1/hour weekend differential
