Goldbelt Glacier is seeking qualified Adult Counselors to support the Military and Family Life Counseling (MFLC) program in Alaska. This position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract bid. The primary responsibility is to provide short-term, non-medical counseling and outreach to military service members and their families. Services include individual, couples, and group counseling, as well as briefings and presentations, and 'walk-around' counseling to reduce the stigma associated with seeking help. The goal is to enhance relationship strength, stress management, emotional expression and regulation, and to help participants navigate challenges unique to military life, such as marital issues, parenting, grief, adjustment to relocation, and deployments. Counselors will also conduct proactive outreach and collaborate with military points of contact to ensure services align with contract scope and installation needs. Salary and leveling will be commensurate with experience.
