About The Position

BayCare Medical Group, the leading medical group in the Tampa Bay area, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-established, multi-subspecialty group serving the Tampa Bay area for over 50 years. This position is primarily based at St. Joseph’s Hospital and includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, with a focus on adult congenital heart disease. Requirements

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Eligible for or licensed in Florida as an APRN or PA-C.
Experience in Congenital Heart experience required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for patient education and advocacy.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive, team-based care for adults with congenital heart disease in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Conduct and document thorough initial and follow-up physical examinations, including assessment and ongoing management of ACHD patients.
Work as part of a dedicated, multidisciplinary Pediatric Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease team, in close collaboration with a broad network of specialty services.
Support pre- and post-operative management of complex congenital heart patients in coordination with interventional and surgical APPs.
Promote health and coordinate care for patients and families through education, anticipatory guidance, and engagement in lifelong congenital heart disease management—including communication with referring providers as appropriate.
Contribute to program development, maintenance of ACHD accreditation, and quality improvement initiatives.
