ADU/EDU Technician
About The Position
Airbus is looking for an ADU - Automatic Drilling Unit Technician to join our Mobile Manufacturing Team. This position is responsible for the setup, repair, and implementation of Automatic Drilling Unit Fixtures and templates in collaboration with production needs. The team at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing facilities help assemble the finest aircraft in the world, along two (soon to be three) production lines for the A220 and A320 Family aircraft. On the shop floor you’ll be surrounded by individuals who are passionate about aviation and skilled in areas like electrical, structure and quality. Requirements
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the industrial maintenance, maintenance of ADU’s, maintenance of test equipment or equivalent mechanical or technical type vocation e.g. Automotive transmission repair, engine overhauls, etc.
- A vocational/technical certificate will be considered in-lieu of experience for entry level positions

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the set-up, repair and implementation of ADU equipment for the Airbus FAL-USA, (A220-A320) based on Airbus best practices.
- Gives advice on best practices and records lessons learned.
- Oversee the qualification of ADUs and support their entry into service.
- Responsible for the adjustment of ADUs, cutting tools and drilling templates
- Provide oversight and instruction to Airbus employees using ADUs (provides limited instruction to employees using equipment - training)
- Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and repair of ADU’s
- Perform other duties as assigned
