About The Position
As an Adoption Stabilization & Preservation Specialist, you will work with children and families to help ensure that children can safely thrive in their home environments. You will teach skills such as emotion regulation, having healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and healthy communication within families among other things. Specialists will work together with families to create a safe, stable, flexible and comfortable environment for all the family members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Compassionate and eager to learn.
- Desire to help families build on their strengths for healthy long-lasting relationships.
- Strong desire to advocate for children and their families.
- Complete a Predictive Index assessment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in adoption services, adoption preservation, or related family support work.
