About The Position

ilearn wellness group is seeking a LICSW, LMHC, LCSW, or Pre-Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our growing Adolescent PHP/IOP program in Newton, MA. ilearn wellness group is an affiliate of LearnWell, drawing on more than 26 years of experience supporting young people and families across behavioral health and educational settings. Our Adolescent PHP/IOP provides structured behavioral health treatment for adolescents who need a higher level of support while remaining connected to their families and communities.

Requirements

Massachusetts LICSW, LMHC, LCSW, or Pre-Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related clinical field
Mental health experience required

Nice To Haves

Experience with children and/or adolescents strongly preferred
PHP, IOP, inpatient, residential, therapeutic school, school-based, or other higher-acuity experience is a plus
Strong group facilitation, communication, documentation, and clinical skills

Responsibilities

Lead Therapeutic Groups: Facilitate groups using DBT, CBT, ACT, social skills, psychoeducation, mindfulness, and coping-skills interventions.
Case Management & Intake: Conduct screenings, develop treatment plans, support discharge planning, and coordinate with families and outside providers.
Provide Clinical Support: Help adolescents develop safety plans, coping strategies, and skills to successfully transition to their next level of care.
Collaborate: Work alongside psychiatrists, clinicians, nurses, technicians, families, schools, and community providers.
Clinical Documentation: Complete assessments, treatment plans, clinical notes, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
