About The Position

Handspring is seeking licensed therapists passionate about children's mental health to join their fully remote team. The organization is rebuilding pediatric behavioral health care and offers guaranteed minimum pay, malpractice coverage, paid consultation time, and a supportive clinical community. Therapists will provide weekly psychotherapy using evidence-based practices to adolescents and young adults, along with parent training and support. The role involves maintaining a fixed weekly schedule of at least 8 recurring client sessions via telehealth, participating in consultations and peer-led huddles, completing clinical documentation, and coordinating with other professionals involved in the client's care.

Requirements

  • Licensed in Washington: LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT
  • Experience with adolescents and young adults, using evidence-based treatments
  • Comfortable with Zoom, EHR systems, and collaboration tools
  • Not opted out of Medicare; willing to be cross-licensed in additional states
  • Able to commit to a fixed weekly schedule of at least 8 recurring client sessions

Responsibilities

  • Provide weekly psychotherapy using CBT and other evidence-based practices to adolescents ages 13–17 and young adults 18+, plus parent training and support
  • Maintain a fixed weekly schedule of at least 8 recurring client sessions via telehealth
  • Participate in weekly consultations and peer-led collaborative huddles
  • Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with clients’ pediatricians, school counselors, and families as needed
