Blackbird Health is seeking an Adolescent Addiction Therapist for a hybrid role based out of any of their PA clinic locations. This role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and make a significant impact on young patients and their families, specifically supporting those suffering from video game and other addictions.

Requirements

  • Experienced clinician with a passion for working with adolescents, young adults and their families using evidence-based practices
  • Skilled in facilitating both in-person and virtual telehealth sessions with strong technical proficiency (Google Suite, EMR systems, virtual platforms)
  • Excited to make an impact and driven by patient outcomes
  • Proactive problem-solver with strong clinical judgment and excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Dedicated to high-touch, comprehensive care, not just clinical sessions, but true partnership with families and caregivers
  • Collaborative team player who values clinical consultation, feedback, and professional growth
  • Independently licensed as a LPC, LMFT or LCSW in Pennsylvania
  • Possess one (1) year of experience providing individual, direct care therapy to children and adolescent patients
  • Have one (1) year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual evidence-based therapy to adolescents, and young adults (ages 10-26), building strong therapeutic relationships through consistent, high-quality care
  • Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on ongoing assessment of patient progress
  • Invest in your patient relationships by establishing positive, trusting rapport with patients
  • Participate in consultation to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback and support
  • Collaborate with other specialty providers
  • Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation and patient records
  • Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate
