As an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Edge Delivery Services Solutions Architect, you will work closely with our clients on critical digital transformation programs that drive customer experience, optimize costs, create efficiencies, and deliver business outcomes. You will be responsible for the leadership, planning, and management of assigned AEM-related client engagements and participate in all aspects of the lifecycle, including estimating, requirements gathering, solution and technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support of applications developed for our clients. This is a hands-on delivery role. As a solution lead, you will work in support of a client product owner on large-scale implementations. Accountable to a program leadership team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of AEM implementations as well as business enablement and migration work packages relating to content supply chain technology. This role requires a high level of flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities will typically include organizing and facilitating discovery and requirement capture workshops, leading the design, architecture, development, testing, and deployment of Adobe Experience Management (AEM) Sites using Edge Delivery Services and Assets solutions, and working with the project manager to define the project delivery approach. You will work closely with clients, product owners, developers, system administrators, project managers, business analysts, and end users to build state-of-the-art content supply chain solutions using Adobe Experience Cloud products. You will be the point person for implementation strategies based on business needs, long-term strategy, and creative design. Champion engineering rigor throughout all AEM projects by promoting concepts such as Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and detailed documentation. Provide technical guidance to AEM developers and practitioners around best practices in AEM development and configuration, both back-end and front-end execution. Be hands-on with the code and configuration when needed. Provide architectural guidance/input around environment configuration, caching, CDN usage, security, etc. Manage project teams of 10 or more people in both onsite and remote, global locations. Lead the design, architecture, development, testing, and deployment of AEM Sites on Edge Delivery Services and Document-based / Universal Editor authoring, bridging from traditional AEM Sites (AEM as a Cloud Service / on-prem) where clients are mid-migration. Define and lead Classic-AEM → Edge Delivery migration strategy: content supply chain modeling, template/block mapping, and large-scale automated content import. Champion AI-accelerated delivery by applying AI-assisted development, migration, and content-authoring tooling to compress project timelines, and advise clients on adopting Adobe’s AI capabilities (Firefly, AEM AI Assistant, GenStudio, Adobe Experience Platform/AI Agents) within their content supply chain. Provide architectural guidance on environment configuration, caching, CDN/edge compute, performance (Core Web Vitals), security, and governance. Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
