About The Position
The Registrar serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors and plays a critical role in creating a positive patient experience. This position is responsible for accurately registering patients for emergency, outpatient, and inpatient services while ensuring complete demographic, insurance, financial, and authorization information is collected. The Registrar delivers exceptional customer service while supporting efficient patient flow, revenue cycle integrity, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Previous patient registration, scheduling, medical office, healthcare customer service, or admissions experience.
- Insurance verification or healthcare billing experience.
- Additional college training.
