About The Position

Cascade Medical, located in beautiful downtown Leavenworth in the Cascade foothills of Central Washington, has openings for two full time Admitting Clerk/Front Desk Receptionists. Work Schedule: The anticipated schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week. One position will follow a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday schedule, while the other will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Weekday hours will be from 7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. In addition, both schedules will include occasional shifts on Saturdays from 7:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. If you like interacting with people and enjoy a positive work environment and supportive culture, this key front office position may be right for you! Offer letters and wage determination will be written based on years of experience. This is a safety sensitive position that will require a pre-employment drug screen, including testing for THC.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Prior customer experience and interacting with the public is required.
  • Must be able to accurately balance daily deposits - math aptitude required.
  • Must be able to organize, multi-task, and prioritize daily work tasks.
  • Must possess proficient computer skills.
  • Must possess interpersonal skills that align with CM's Shared Values.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous admitting/receptionist experience in a similar setting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Receptionist for our facility. Answer and route calls for all hospital departments.
  • Register patients accurately. Maintain all admitting information at 95% accuracy.
  • Perform data entry for patient account set up. Process billing paperwork for outpatient departments, including the Emergency Department.
  • Process both incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Process daily deposits. Receive payments and maintain cash drawer.
  • Process primary and secondary bills.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient and employee information to ensure patient and employee rights are protected in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
