He/she will perform administrative functions in support of overall operational objectives, including but not limited to: operating office equipment (e.g., computers, facsimile machines, copiers, scanners, printers mailing machines, and phone systems/switchboards); organizing, collecting, analyzes, and presents statistical information related to organizational requirements and objectives; categorizes and files documents in appropriate files; Types, edits, and distributes a wide variety of correspondence under established guidelines and procedures; and, maintains and processes paperwork, instructions, notices, letters, evaluations, etc. related to organizational business.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a hospital or related medical field.
  • Must possess knowledge of office procedures, including good telephone skills, medical terminology, typing, insurance requirements and collection practices.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills.
  • Must be self-starting with great organization skills
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Demonstrate their passion for healthcare through compassion and empathy when working with customers and colleagues.
