About The Position

Pima Medical Institute is seeking an Admissions Support Center Specialist to join their team on-site at their Mesa Support Center. This role involves being the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families, guiding them towards their educational goals through empathetic customer service and active listening. The specialist will be responsible for setting appointments and removing barriers for future healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work 100% on-site at our Mesa, AZ corporate office location.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of call center, administrative, or customer service experience (an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a patient, customer-centric phone presence.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior sales, admissions, or higher education experience.
  • Practical experience using a CRM or lead management system.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to prospective students and families using an empathetic approach to answer questions and schedule campus appointments.
  • Provide accurate, encouraging information regarding school programs, policies, and admissions processes; reschedule appointments as needed to keep students on track.
  • Perform outreach to missed appointments to encourage rescheduling; assist with distributing program information and prospective applicant mailings.
  • Maintain campus admissions calendars to ensure seamless appointment scheduling for campus teams.
  • Add new leads into the student contact management system (CRM) and maintain detailed records of all calls, inquiries, and student interactions.
  • Review lead, appointment, and enrollment reports; collaborate with call center peers to continuously refine customer service standards.
