About The Position
Arisa Health is seeking an Admissions Specialist for our residential facility in Searcy, AR. This role is crucial in coordinating admissions, managing referrals, and ensuring a smooth intake process for clients. The Admissions Specialist will play a key part in supporting the Therapeutic Community (TC) by tracking bed status, conducting interviews, and processing essential client information.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of experience in a related field
Responsibilities
- Coordinate admissions for the residential facility
- Track and manage bed status
- Manage incoming referrals
- Conduct ongoing interviews
- Organize and track information pertinent to incoming admits
- Process applications, benefit determinations, payee information, Optum assessments, etc.
- Facilitate residential staff meetings
- Track data and run reports in internet sites and Microsoft Excel
- Provide information directly to current and potential clients
