About The Position

The Admissions Specialist 1 provides administrative and operational support for the UCSF School of Dentistry's admissions and recruitment functions. Under general supervision, the incumbent coordinates applicant communications, processes and maintains admissions records, prepares application materials for committee review, and supports recruitment and outreach activities for prospective students. The position serves as a primary point of contact for applicants, ensuring accurate and timely information regarding admissions requirements, application procedures, and enrollment processes. The Admissions Specialist assists with the management of applicant data, interview coordination, admissions events, and admissions committee activities while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with university policies and accreditation standards. The incumbent contributes to a positive applicant experience and supports the UCSF School of Dentistry's efforts to recruit and enroll a diverse and highly qualified student body.
