About The Position

Unitek College is seeking an Admissions Representative to join their mission of closing the nursing shortage gap by preparing compassionate, high-quality nurses and allied health professionals. This role is crucial in guiding motivated individuals from initial interest to enrollment in Unitek's programs, thereby contributing to the workforce needed in local communities. The Admissions Representative will be responsible for responding to inquiries, conducting outreach, performing interviews, and managing the admissions process.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ customer service, telemarketing, or sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to fulfill Company Key Behaviors
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to work assigned/flexible hours necessary to complete the job on a weekly basis
  • Empathetic, mission-driven communicator who believes education changes lives and strengthens healthcare.
  • Comfortable with high-volume outbound outreach and professional follow-up.
  • Strong consultative sales approach — you listen, advise, and guide prospects toward the best path.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with experience using CRM or student information systems

Nice To Haves

  • Previous admissions, enrollment, healthcare recruiting, or higher-education sales experience preferred.
  • Experience with Nexus or CampusVue a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from prospective students.
  • Make 100–150 outbound daily phone calls to assess interest, build rapport, and schedule admissions interviews.
  • Conduct consultative in-person or virtual interviews that present program options, career pathways, and educational outcomes.
  • Follow up with interested prospects to answer questions, remove barriers, and collect required admissions documents.
  • Accurately document all student contacts and admissions activity in Nexus/CampusVue.
