The Representative III is responsible for following Federal, State and Local guidelines and works directly with patients and clinical teams for delivery of services to include but not limited to: Registration, Scheduling, Verification of insurance, Collection of patient payments, The patient experience, Communicating with internal departments. The Representative III is proficient in the application and systems that may include but not limited to: Affinity, Passport, Chartmaxx, EPIC, Other supporting information systems. The Representative III will have extensive knowledge in all roles of registration for the area they support. Responds appropriately to inquiries and complaints. Can troubleshoot and problem solve independently as situations occur. Ensures Front Office equipment functions properly, placing services calls when required. Provides feedback to leadership regarding opportunities and goals for the department. Volunteers and assists leadership in special projects. Acts as a resource and provides guidance to new employees, offering assistance and direction to less experienced team members. Acute Rehab Department Only: Supports LCSW and Admissions Liaison with ARU admission and discharge processes. Works with vendors on equipment orders. Sets appointments for post ARU discharge patients.
