About The Position

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette invites applications for the position of Admissions Recruiter in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment. Reporting to the Associate Director, the Admissions Recruiter will be primarily responsible for the recruitment of new students. This role involves working closely with senior recruitment staff in strategic planning for the recruitment division, serving as a liaison with a high level of customer service for prospective students and their families, university administration, faculty, and staff. The position also requires close collaboration with high school counselors and administrators in coordinating recruitment activities, and direct responsibility for recruitment in assigned regions. Duties include preparing reports and correspondence, and potentially working evenings and weekends for recruitment visits, conferences, and training. The Admissions Recruiter may also be assigned special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year of previous experience in higher education, college admissions, student recruitment, counseling, or customer service

Responsibilities
