About The Position

The Office of the Registrar welcomes applications for the Admissions & Records Assistant 4. The Admissions & Records Assistant 4 (IV) serves as team lead for managing the Office of the Registrar’s Operations queue in Salesforce, ensuring requests are prioritized and resolved in a timely manner. The queue includes work orders, support and special event requests, academic scheduling issues, and services for campus partners such as Facilities Maintenance, the Student Union, and Space Management. The role performs complex procedural and analytical work, including running reports, queries, and reconciliations across multiple systems to identify scheduling issues prior to publication. It coordinates data across systems such as 25Live and MyUNLV and manages course changes that impact the academic schedule. The position maintains communication with academic departments to ensure schedule accuracy, applies specialized knowledge of curriculum policy and student information systems, collaborates on the academic production cycle calendar, recommends operational improvements, and supports office-wide projects and services as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent education
  • Four years of progressively responsible relevant work experience which included experience in one or more of the following areas: providing administrative/program support to professional staff and management; performing secretarial duties in support of a manager; coordinating communications between the manager, staff and program clientele; supervision of subordinate staff; researching information from internal and external sources; OR one year of experience as an Administrative Assistant III in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
