About The Position

Avalon Care Center at Northpointe is seeking a part-time Admissions Nurse (LPN) in Spokane, Washington. The nurse welcomes incoming residents, coordinates their transition into the facility, and helps ensure they receive appropriate care and support from day one. The role involves admission assessments, clinical evaluations, care coordination, communication with residents and families, and accurate documentation and regulatory compliance. The position is scheduled Sunday through Tuesday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at one work location. Pay is $43.00–$48.95 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and skills.

Requirements

Current LPN license in Washington State or eligibility under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
Previous nursing experience; skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to pass employment screenings.

Responsibilities

Complete admission assessments and clinical evaluations for incoming residents.
Coordinate admissions to ensure a smooth transition into the facility.
Review medical records, physician orders, medications, and care needs.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care.
Educate residents and families about the admission process and care expectations.
Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance throughout the admission process.
